Frozen

The Wauwatosa West High School Theatre Program is preparing for the Wisconsin high school premiere of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical, running from November 10 to 18, 2023.

The Wauwatosa West Theatre Program secured the rights to produce the show in September 2022. Wauwatosa West is the sole high school in Wisconsin chosen for this opportunity as a result of "The United States of Frozen: Love Is an Open Door" competition. This nationwide competition granted one high school in every state the exclusive rights to produce the show. The Wauwatosa West Theatre Program has partnered with the Educational Theatre Association, Music Theatre International, and Disney Theatrical Group on the pilot production.

"We are absolutely thrilled to be among the pioneering schools to stage Frozen, and our dedicated students have poured their hearts and souls into preparing for this unique production," said Adam Steffan, Wauwatosa West High School theater director. “Our ensemble of cast, crew, pit, designers, volunteers and dedicated staff members are eager to present this show to our community. Bring your family and friends, and join us in Arendelle!"

The Wauwatosa West Theatre Program is well regarded, consistently receiving Jerry Awards for its productions and presenting two full-scale theatrical productions annually. With each performance, students aim to share engaging stories and provide exceptional theater experiences for guests.

Tickets for Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, October 11, on the Wauwatosa West Theatre Program's website
