Music students from Wauwatosa School District's secondary schools have showcased their talents at several area Solo & Ensemble Festivals hosted by the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) throughout March, earning numerous qualifications for the prestigious State Solo & Ensemble Festival.

The district extends its congratulations to all participants from Wauwatosa East and West High Schools, as well as Longfellow and Whitman Middle Schools, for their dedication. This recognition also highlights the outstanding support students receive from their teachers and families.

WSMA's State Solo & Ensemble Festival will be held on Saturday, April 29 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

"We are immensely proud of our students' achievements," said Dr. Demond Means, Superintendent of the Wauwatosa School District. "Their talent, hard work, and dedication have shone brightly throughout these competitions. We congratulate them on their qualifications for the State Solo & Ensemble Festival and wish them the best of luck."

Wauwatosa West Band students qualifying for State in one or more events are: Kassen Bartlett, Sean Gaez, Mason Flickinger, Gustavo Gonzalez-Sanchez, Jack Hanks, Milo Hagopian-Smith, Aiden Harmon, Adeline Jaeckels, Max Kuhn, Aaron Leckman, Harrison Liang, Vincent McMurty, David Miller, Jack Monagle, Peter Neugent, Noah Ngo, Kolby Oberdorf, Flynn O'Rear, Rory Petitt, Henry Riordan, Duncan Rogers, Louie Schauer, Cameron Corragio, Braden Young, Ian Crowther.

Additionally, Elizabeth Cover from Longfellow Middle School Orchestra and the following Whitman Middle School Orchestra students have also qualified for State: Anthony Boettcher, Vivienne Marschke, Ben Koenigs, Henry Leonard, Sonia Toonen.
