COST
The cost for insurance is $25 per student/device.
Families are entitled to four (4) accidental damage claims per school year for each insured device. A separate policy is required for each school year and for each device. Purchasing insurance avoids paying the service/administrative fee of $50 per incident.
COVERAGE
The policy covers the following for a student’s district-issued Chromebook for the 2024-25 school year:
1) Unintentional Damages
Examples of unintentional damages covered by the plan may include:
Liquid spilled on or in device
Drops, falls, and other collisions
Electrical Surge
Damage or broken screen due to drop, fall, or collision
Damaged / non-functioning charger
2) Manufacturer defects and hardware failures
Insurance will be available for purchase in Infinite Campus until September 17th, 2024.
